About Us

We’re Meadows Avenue Tap, and we’ve been the premier bar and grill in East Peoria, IL since 2006. With over $55 Million won by our customers, we offer the best gaming experience around. We specialize in private parties, pool leagues, and video gambling. We also offer craft and domestic beer, appetizers, breakfast on weekends, burgers, homemade pizza, wings, and much more for dine-in, carryout, and curbside pickup. Our Story

When owner Rich Gabbert took over the business in 2006, he had a vision for Meadows Avenue Tap to become a community staple and pass the business down to his children. Rich’s mission from the beginning has been to focus on customer satisfaction. In 2008, he added a covered beer garden outside for customers to enjoy some fresh air throughout their night, without removing themselves from the vibrant atmosphere that Meadows Avenue Tap is known for. When gambling became legal in Illinois in 2012, Rich thought gaming machines would add an extra layer of excitement and fun with his customers, and he was right! Nearly ten years later, Meadows Avenue Tap is known around the region to have the best gaming experience, and some of highest payouts for players. We’re a one-stop-shop for food and drinks, slot machines, and great conversation.

SAVE THE DATE!
In 2023, we supported McKenna Richardson by raising $21,000 to go towards her telethon fund for the kids of St. Jude! We are doing it again this year and hope to be just as successful!
We will be serving our traditional fish meals which include baked beans, homemade potato chips, and cornbread.
There will be 50/50 tickets to purchase, HUGE donation items for the raffle, a dunk tank, live music, a bake sale, and so much more!
